Irene Smirnova is a Canadian artist and a writer, author of "Iriada Tales: poetry collection".
Irene has studied literature, journalism, arts, animation and design for visual effects in university and in Nad Center in Montreal in the 90s.
She was working as a film critic and digital artist for many years.
Irene has contributed to numerous film projects, including awards winning.

Her art explores latest digital tools and platforms. Traditional techniques make a foundation for Irene's artwork and she loves to mix the new and old techniques, using charcoal, oils, wax and raisin in painting, 3D software packages like Autodesk Maya and rendering engine Arnold, 2d painting packages of Adobe and many others.
Irene's book "Iriada Tales: poetry collection" is available in major bookstores from August 2024.
